On May 20, 2025, the review meeting for the draft of “Technical Requirements for Pollution Control of Commercial Internal Circulation Fume Purification Equipment,” led by the China Environmental Protection Industry Association, was successfully held at Ningbo Fangtai Group. As a benchmark enterprise in the field of commercial kitchen ventilation systems, MORK (a brand under AIRWORK) was invited as a participating editor to attend the meeting, deeply participating in the discussion and improvement of this industry standard, and injecting professional strength into the standardized development of the industry with practical experience and technical accumulation.

This review meeting brought together authoritative forces from various sectors of the industry, with high standards and strong professionalism. Special invited were relevant leaders from the Ministry of Ecology and Environment to provide guidance. At the same time, senior experts from the Environmental Standards Research Institute of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, the Shenzhen Monitoring Station, etc., as well as scholars from universities such as Tsinghua University and Zhejiang University, were all present. Additionally, representatives from about twenty participating units, including the Shanghai Institute of Environmental Science Research, Ningbo Fangta Kitchenware Co., Ltd., and Imitt Electric Appliances Co., Ltd., were all present to offer suggestions and advice for the standard formulation.

Currently, the management of catering fume faces multiple challenges such as stricter environmental standards, complex building scenarios, and prominent safety hazards. Traditional management solutions have become difficult to meet the diverse needs of the market. Based on this, AIRWORK has launched its sub-brand MORK, deeply exploring the iterative upgrading of indoor direct exhaust purification technology, allowing smoke exhaust to break free from spatial constraints and achieve ventilation freedom. MORK products have been widely applied in various commercial building complexes such as star-rated hotels, shopping malls, food centers, airports, factories, etc. around the world. Its customers include well-known enterprises and institutions such as Intel, Microsoft, Huawei, Tencent, Hilton, Marriott Hotels, etc., leading the new trend of green smoke exhaust.

Standard formulation is an important foundational task for industrial development. As a participating unit, MORK MOKE (a brand under AIRWORK) leveraged its profound accumulation in the field of commercial kitchen ventilation systems without pipelines to actively engage in the discussion of standard formulation. At the meeting, the representatives of MORK MOKE, drawing on the company’s years of practical experience, focused on key aspects such as technical indicators, purification efficiency, safety regulations, and operation and maintenance costs of commercial internal circulation type non-pipeline cooking fume purification equipment, and proposed a number of targeted and operational suggestions, helping to standardize the industry market order, guiding enterprises to upgrade their technologies, and promoting the healthy development of the industry.
In the future, MORK (a brand under AIRWORK) will continue to uphold the concept of innovation, continuously deepen its research and development efforts, actively fulfill corporate social responsibilities, strictly adhere to industry standards, and create more high-quality, efficient and energy-saving cooking fume purification products and solutions. Together with industry colleagues, it will contribute to the high-quality development of the cooking fume purification industry in our country.
